If you've ever used caulking, especially silicones and butyls, you may have stuck a nail into the tip, trying to prevent the caulk from hardening in the tip and tube but eventually, you come back a month or so later and the tip is all dried up. Don't feel all alone, it is estimated that 50% of all caulk manufactured is disposed of due to the caulk drying in the tip or tube. With the Caulk Tip, you're able to cut the top of the tube completely off, eliminate the dried part, and attach a replacement Caulk Tip.
